DID YOU KNOW!!?? In 2005, Massachusetts repealed their 330 year-old law banning Natives from entering Boston. I assume this had something to do with that Tea Party (past and present) getting out-of-control.
If I had a nickle for every time it was Tuesday, I’d have 1 cent.
Life is like a box of spanners, you may or may not know which you will get.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do tomorrow.
It is better to have loved and lost than to have someone poke you in the eye.

I really don’t understand new clients who contact you but don’t want to tell you their requirements until you give them a price.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to be bilingual. Spanish simply eats my English, and vice-versa. Well, there is a healthy overlap where I have both, I just wish I had more of it.
Today I told a client I’ll be “revising the whole system”. They were shocked. Appalled.
Luckily I caught my mistake immediately - I’d in fact be “reviewing” it, the same as revisándolo.
When you first start learning an language not distantly similar to your own they warn you about “false friends”, words in both that look the same but are actually different. They never tell you that it will eventually happen the other way round.
Humala wants to change the constitution… a great way to paralyze the country for at least two years with fear and uncertainty. Capital flight, inflation and unemployment… and that’s if the changes are wonderful and beneficial.
Destroying the livelihoods of the working classes to create a new constitution to benefit the working classes doesn’t sound logical to me. Better to work within the confines of the existing laws to achieve such aims, because you can’t redistribute wealth if the the wealth has fled the country. Better to foster stability and then rob the mining and energy companies blind.
